Jim, depends on when the MoCo decides this year.  Normally, they introduce the new model year the first week of August during Sturgis.  That was not the case for the 2013's, however.  It was late August/early September for them.  Have not seen anything in stone on when the 2014's will be in the wind but keeping my eyes open.  I'm hoping for a return to tradition and the release date will be August 5th, 2013... :2vrolijk_21:

Should be an exciting year for the 2014 Street Glide, having taken a year off! :pepper:  I always look forward to the new bikes, but I have no plans to give up my 2012 CVO Ultra, it's the best I've ever had from Moco! :pepper:

The two totems of something new and something great are generally mutually exclusive when talking Harley Davidson.  No way in hell I'd buy any major new engine system in Harley's first year (or two) of its release.

Been there, done that with my '07 and the first year 110" motor and 6-speed tranny.  Gawd the chit I went through before I got it all sorted out.  But it runs sweet now and is just purrrrrrrrfect.  I'll let someone else be the beta tester for the first couple years of any water cooled motor the moco comes out with.   :2vrolijk_21:

If it is, I might buy one in four or five years, when it might be a reasonably sorted motor...   ???

Seems as years go, HD is getting away from Sturgis and most of the other rallies........BIG MISTAKE!!!
