Windshield Bag?
« on: October 07, 2006, 06:57:38 PM »

Ive had the three pouch and single pouch on the bike in the past and found them very useful, but with the dash pad on the CUSE2, I'm not so sure it's a good idea to put one on there.  Looks like it will rub.

What have you guys done?

I don't want to remove the dash pad, it's part of the bike's personality!

Have the three pouch, fits fine. Only thing at least 8 inch windshield to cover outer edges of pouches.

Haven't added the pouches to my 'CUSE because it rubbed the windshield so badly on my '99.  Like the storage but just don't like the way it works.  I started using a small magnetic tank bag from Daytona Gear:  http://daytonagear.com    They work great.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I'm like you, Ace. I bought a 3 pouch buth didn't like the way it 1) rubbed the dash, 2) rubbed the windshield and 3) stuck out past

I drilled out the rivets that hold the bags on and moved the holes back about 3/4in and the bags fit fine know.  Before they really push on the windshield.
