Was some what uncomfortable for the first 1000 miles, or so. But I am liking the comfort and fit now. I purchased a sundowner for my last RK and it has @ 20K on it, but I have decided against mounting it, as the comfort is damn close.

Dad hated his - he traded the seat for a mammoth choppers seat - nice.  He felt that it sat him upright and forward....

really it's not the seat, but the difference in butt firmness.

I put a Mustang on my flhrsei2 which slightly improved rider comfort but dramatically improved passenger comfort

hi guys, i have discovered something for me regarding the seat comfort.  as much as i like the back rest, it pushes me forward on the seat and without it on the seat comfort is amazing.  try it and let me know what your thoughts are.  chaz

I also happen to think the stock SERK seat is comfortable and when riding alone will keep it on.  I am 6' 1.5" and 225 lbs, I moved the bracket for the backrest as far back as it will go and I love the ride compared to the stock RK seat.  I did however purchase a mustang touring seat for those long trips with a picky passenger.

This is what I've been riding for the past 13 months. The seat is 7" wide and the seat height is over 35". I'm assuming the stock seat on the SERK will feel like a barcolounger in comparison. ;D
