We stayed at the Ruby Inn for a night during our visit to Bryce Canyon!  A fun family destination for sure...

Excellent...This is the perfect time of year.  It will be hot but not too bad.  If you get there in the afternoon I think thats the BEST time for good pics!  The golden hour!  The cool thing is you can ride around Arches hop off your bike take some killer pics without walking all over the place in the heat.
Don't forget to show us your pictures.

I don't remember that door....Here's my Mormon Margarita story..*S
It was just before the Winter Olympics were comming to Utah, my wife and I roll up to the Hotel there at the entrance of Bryce we get cleaned up wash off the road dirt and change into clean clothes and head to the restaurant for a bite and a cold drink.  I see that that have these signs stating something to the fact that they do indeed serve liquor in the state of Utah and spread the word that Utah does party..*S
OK I say to the wife a Frozen Margarita sure sounds like the ticket!!  She agrees and when the waitress arrives I order for the both of us.  Two large Frozen Uptown Margaritas please!  What's that she asks...  I tell her its just like your normal margarita but with Grand Marnier.  Whats that she asks...and I explain how we would like a shot of this Grand Marnier in each drink telling her thats the secret to a Great Margarita....and off she goes with our drink order...  Well I tell the wife this was not such a good idea if I have to tell them how to make the drink its not going to be very good and informing Diana that Mormons don't drink so this was probably a mistake so don't make a fuss if its not what you are used to.  Diana says how hard can it be the directions are right there on the marg mix... and I agree remembering when I read the directions it said 1/3 marg mix, 1/3 Tequila. 1/3 ice, 1 shot Triple Sec.  but I never make them that strong.  Well soon she comes with our order and our drinks were made in those metal milkshake cups We had a full glass of Margarita and half a Milkshake container with the extra two of these mind you!  Well the Mormons making our drinks must of read the same instructions that I read and never followed, because we got Soooo Blasted we could barely make it back to our room....!!!
So Now our inside joke is that a Mormon Margarita....is the BEST Margarita...!!!

Southern Utah has some of the most amazing sites/sights in the world.  It would be a shame to be that close and not see them.  Bryce, Zion, Arches, Canyonlands would each need a full day to see anything.

Just don't let the polygamists get ahold of you.   ;)

Actually, you're probably OK.  I heard they don't let outside men in.  But they're always lookin for a few more women.  :P
