chrome backrest for solo seat breakout

I have seen a chrome backrest for the solo seat on the breakout, has anybody else seen this backrest?

This was first posted and discussed in this thread - Back support and luggage rack, What do you think?. Don't think anyone had any luck getting in contact/reply from the person that makes it. :( :nixweiss:

Interesting- would probably be functional and comfortable, but i just don't like the look of it.  I would be willing to bet it would cost an arm and a leg too since it is totally custom.

I would only use it if I were taking a long road trip where a backrest would be comfortable and for the ability to strap on some baggage without the worry of scratching that rear fender.  Not for everyday riding.

Yes, my thought exactly.  I don't want a rider back rest on the bike all the time.  But for those times when you know you will be out all day on it, and you have a 50 year-old back......

I don't get why the guy does not make his site more accessible.  He has several Breakout-specific items I have seen, and there are maybe, what, 2 Breakouts right now in the entire country of Japan...it would seem he would have to make them specifically for export?   It's too bad...
