Are they pretty good with dyno tuning?

IMHO none of the area HD dealers do a good job.  Skips Speed and Custom will tune any tuner and they did a great job on my 08 110.  Since selling that bike I have always used the tuners that you can do it yourself and have had great results,  Good Luck.

My experience is that they tune for peak numbers not for the best ride.

doc has trained a lot of people.  He might have kept up with a few of them and being the teacher he would know a little about how they did with the class.  might give him a message and he might be able to give you some ideas as well.

Had V&H Power Duals installed yesterday at Frederick HD on 2010 FLHXSE. Was running stock headpipes with Klockworks Super Saver mufflers. Tuned with SEPST. No other engine mods. After intall and about four hours on the dyno, 98.4 hp and 111.4 tq. I was looking for cooler operating temps and a bit more low to mid range torque and rideability. Forty mile ride home and no complaints. Noticeable difference in acceleration form stop and in that 2,300-2,800 cruising range and no decel popping.

Frederick HD is a stand-up dealer with experienced long-term techs. What convinced me was when I had the bike in for service at about 11K miles. First time using them. They installed a new rear tire and when mounting, the bead breaker jumped off and put a deep scratch along the edge of the rim. Could have simply said nothing and I wouldn't have noticed until I removed the bags for cleaning, down the road. Instead they showed me the damage and let me know that they had ordered a new wheel. That's the kind of service and dealer integrity I look for.

Correction: Misread the dyno chart. Torque 114.29 after tune.
