I hear they had to make the circle about 4' bigger in diameter for the Victories.

If a cop on a Victory wants to pull me over....I'll just head into a mall parking lot!

The Victoria, BC Police department, in their infinite wisdom, purchased Victories...from a dealer in the US. The local dealer wont service them...they must be getting service up north of Nanaimo, as I had the pleasure to follow a couple of them from Aulds Road all the way to Duncan (I needed fuel). The two bikes had different pipes..one round and the other rectangle. The one with the rectangle pipes had to keep revving it to keep it running when stopped at lights.

The Vic CCT is 10" longer than an Ultra, not sure what the difference in wheelbase is.  I've test-ridden one (but didn't do a rodeo), and I was surprised how well it did low-speed parking lot maneuvers for such a big bike.  I'll say that in my two demos of the CCT, it is better dynamically than any Harley touring rig I've ridden.

Had I not found the exact CVO Ultra I wanted, there'd be a CCT in the garage....And it would have been $10,000 cheaper.

Not sure you won the argument there. You paid 10k more for a bike for any reason and it must be the bike. I look at a lot of bikes but I still bought the plus $ bike. If I thought I should have bought the other that is buyers remorse. Doesn't seem to be the case if you found the bike you had to have.

Didn't realize we were arguing.

I bought the bike I bought because it moved me in a way the Vic didn't (in my pants).  That doesn't change my opinion of the Vic's dynamic abilities or its ergonomics.  It's a great bike, just not the bike for me at the moment.

Sent from my iPad, probably while I'm pooping.
