Sea Biscuit.....how did the final paint job turn out on your Hogtunes speaker lids?  Were they able to match the CVO white gold pearl?  Was the factory paint available or did your paiter have to match it as close as possible.  I have the same color CVO and would like to getthe same speaker lids.  Any advice would eb much appreceiated.

I'm just in process wiring up a Rockford Fosgate PBR300x4, granted, i'd doing it to a Road King but these amps are compact and work well for fairing bikes too. The lids are great quality too. Getting ready to paint them this weekend.

Please educate me regarding this. I plan on maybe/maybe not adding these speaker lids on my scoot. Thinking bout installing Rockford Fosgate amp as well.

BUT, from what I have researched, the PBR300X4 has had some problems vs the smaller two channel punch amp. Any truth in this?

The PBR300x4 (4ch) is the same physical size as the PBR300x2 (2ch).
The initial release of the PBR300x4 had heat issues but that has long been corrected.

Hope this helps ...
