Fairing air deflectors
« on: June 20, 2013, 12:56:59 AM »

Today I replaced my stock fairing air deflectors.  One was broken and the other cracked.
-Just wondering If any others have had similar problems? :nixweiss:

I'm not aware of the problem before. Was it possibly hit by something that cracked it?

By the way, Hello from Custer, Washington!!

That Custer must have really gotten around!
They didn't crack do to impact.  -Just cheap plastic.  The first one broke while I was polishing the plastic.
Another $110 waste of money.
If these new ones break, I'm just going to glue a couple Popsicle sticks to them with Gorilla glue and call it good!  :huepfenlol2:

Cheap plastic that quickly becomes brittle.  Probably came from the same place the cheap chrome parts come from btw.

I bought the Freedom  deflectors back in 2006 because they were adjustable.
I've never cracked or broke one.

I guess it's part of routine maintenance.   :)
