okay, as promised, pics.
so after the first 200 miles, i can honestly say, i still don't like the heel shifter. thats coming off. and i miss my floorboard extenders. add some highway pegs and then it should be as comfortable as my last bike. the 2-1-2 with cat doesn't feel quite as hot as my previous 2-1, but i don't have any lowers on this one either (yet). thinking of the fullsac sportpipe, and the 2.0 baffles, and renewing the license for my powervision and i think that should be pretty good. the 110 seems to have a good bit of torque, but i'm still in breakin mode so i haven't really wrung it out yet.
my wife is laughing at me because the cvo is so flashy. i'm usually a pretty subdued guy (my road king was white, and my last road glide was denim black) so she isn't used to me in anything other than 'stealth' mode. but damn, it is a good looking bike. i'm still not really absorbing that its mine. i never thought i would spend that kind of money on a motorcycle. but really, it isn't that bad if you do it in stages. start off with sportster, pay it off, trade it in on a big twin and you end up with similar payments. trade the big twin in on the cvo after its paid for, and again, you have similar payments. so i pay about the same as someone buying an off the floor touring bike. it just took a long time to get here
my only complaint is the stupid high cost of the color matched parts
even at discount, the tourpak is almost double
