I love my Freedom Shield! The folks there are great to deal with, give site members a discount, and you can test drive the shield you order and exchange it if you chose the wrong one as long as you leave the protective film on it.

You can't go wrong with either.  John from Freedom used to work at Clearview.

The Freedom is a little wider windshield and the recurve at the top is polished.  I do not care for the "wider look" or the polished edge of the Freedom.

On my bike, Clearview offers a tint that looks better on my color combo and that's why I have the Clearview.

Either one gives a ride before you buy as long as the protective coating has not been removed.

Also, regarding the Clearview, go to the "blem section" and buy one of those with the correct height/color and save some big money.  That's all I buy and have been happy with them all.

Either vendor's quality is 100 times better than the one that came on it from the factory.  FWIW..

I had no issues with my clearview shields. I order the blems to see if I like the height of various ones, but couldn't even see the blem on 3 shields.

I just came from Freedom Shields, and John is awesome to work with.  I am picking up my new 2013 CVO Road Glide tomorrow and will have to ride 240 miles home.  John gave me a blem to ride home with, and if it performs as well as his e-glide shields, I will be thrilled.

I've got a FreedomShield and am very happy with it.
That being said, haven't heard anything bad about Clearview at all - everything I've seen has been positive.
Consensus seems to say can't go wrong either way.

For whatever reason the Clearview always made my glasses shake too much no matter what height I tried.  I even tried the HD 10" w recurve and it did the same thing @ 70-75 mph.  I have always gone back to the standard 12" but this time i got the lightly smoked.  Also without a helmet the 10" recurves were ok but unfortunitely i live in Russia.....I mean Maryland.

Thanks to this thread....and you guys, I ordered an 11" re-curved w/s with light tinting from Freedom.
Perhaps I should have went with the darker tint as I hardly ever ride after dark.
The stock shield, like the stock handlebars on my 2013 CVO S/E Ultra was just too low for me.
I had intended to go with a H-D Wind Splitter but I was afraid it wouldn't be high enough either.
