Talking with Steve at Fullsac. I am gonna pull the trigger soon. Can't wait!

UPDATE: I am feeling the sting of my own making! On another post I mentioned I was having the bike looked at ONCE AGAIN for the engine noises. WELL, DAMMIT they found noise, however, I have a small dilemmer now. My extended service contract is now compromised. I attached the letter I got from the "Service Center" it should explain my dilemma. Lets just say in my quest for a smoother quieter cooler running bike I now have to make a monetary choice. And not a good one IMHO!   :furious:

Their quote: Any modification other than stock components that produce additional torque which places additional stress on the "Drive Train" will void the E.S.C.

Imagine the ramifications of even an air filter change!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE: Just got back from the "stealer". Looks like I am a victim of my own demise. The service manager and I agree that because of the nature of the noise problem (cost) coupled with the fact that my bike has had quite a few claims it is most likely I am now flagged and that is what sent out an "Adjuster". Full story to follow when I get the bike back!

UPDATE 2: Hope you folks have a "Stealer" as good to work with as the one I am working with now! The Scottsdale Harley Davison Service Department has called the ESP folks and told them I have taken choice #1 from the options the ESP gave me. IE: provided them with a known good set of "stock" 255 cams to be put in the bike at MY cost $100 labor etc.. The up side to this? is that SHD has backed me fully and are in direct contact with the ESP and the ESP is to return my contract to full. A side note: My frustration and criticism with the slow information loop was added fuel for the Service managers roll out of a newly renovated calling/updating procedure.

Now the not so good news, there are some parts on back order from Mother HD and the wait is WEEKS!!! More later.

Don`t do it! You will hate the reduced heat...the improved performance...the added growl from the baffle change.  ;)

Is the fullsac headpipes chrome?  Wondering if you can tell a cosmetic difference in the bike with the fullsac headpipes.  Any pipe bluing issues?

The fullsac head pipe is not chrome.  However it does you the stock chrome heat shields, and there is zero cosmetic difference with the heat shields on.  That is one of the many reasons I really like it, it looks stock.  No bluing issues on the five bikes I have used fullsac head pipes on.

Glad to hear everything worked out.  I think quite a few of us would have had some form of heartburn (or heart attack) if this went truly south on you.  Several of us are planning (or are in the process of) going the Fullsac route, and definitely don't want there to be an issue with ESW if we do.

Don't leave us hanging.  What did you and ESP do?

Here it is! Just picked my bike up so now the Fat Lady is Fa La La'ing. :2vrolijk_21:

Two months and one day after I dropped it off with my complaints.

Complaint #1

"Customer states there is no sound from any speaker. Customer states this is the fifth time in for a bad radio. Repair has always been replace radio. Customer feels there is an underlying cause. Please check and advise."

Resolve for Complaint #1
Yep you guessed it, replaced radio with refurbished unit. no other issues found. Hmmmm. All is good for now! :2vrolijk_21:

Complaint #2

"Customer states when the bike is hot there is a noticeable noise present when at a steady cruising speed. Customer states that bike is not consuming oil."

Resolve for Complaint #2
Font intake rocker arm very loose.
Oil pump and support plate area damaged possibly causing low oil pressure.
Cylinder and Pistons are very badly worn.

Installed new cylinders, Pistons' Oil pump, Cam Plate, Cam bearings, Chain tensioners, Lifters, Front intake rocker arm. Per conditions of ESP and owner, returned drive train back to stock condition by re-installing stock cams and pushrods. REMOVED AND CLEANED DEBRIS FROM OIL PAN.

What I have drawn from this episode.
Never do without and Extended Service Contract!
Never go back to the same dealer that is unwilling to satisfy your request! IE: The first dealer said "It's rocker noise. Nothing can be done for it. I know that's not what you wanted to hear but that is what we found."
Putting non stock items in your bike while under contract MAY place your contract in jeopardy! If you do, hopefully your dealer is willing to "assist" you!

At least the next few days will be in the low 70's. Guess who is going to break in his new top end???? :pepper:

JUST IN .... Dealer called and says ESP wants the sales receipt for the CVO 255 cams I supplied. SHEEESH!!!!!

Spoke with Dealer last night about the request of the ESP. Here is what they were told. "We need to see the receipt of purchase of the replacement SE255 stock cams due to the fact that the photo you submitted does not indicate the actual cam plate with SE255 stock cams placed in the customers bike." (These are the same folks that negotiated with me to continue my ESP if I  turned my motor back to stock.)
