Just curious!
« on: June 27, 2013, 05:00:50 PM »

Is there anyone still riding the older CVO Bikes?  Say pre-2009.

Not impossible to get older than this one.  But only barely.

I still see a lot of the SEEGs on the road.  But what ever happened to all those 2003 silver & black 100th anniv. bikes?  There were so many of those put out for that 18 month run that I thought we'd see those into the next century.

Probably all garage queens... I can't recall ever having seen one on the road!

A couple oldies actually. 34,000 miles on the '01 Switchblade, getting ready for a 3K mile trip out to Idaho and back home thru Sturgis. It's been my first and only Harley and I've loved every mile I've put on it. Got it 5 years ago this month with 4,500 on the odo. It's seen several trips over 3K miles, many days over 600 miles. Been to one CVO Gathering in Arkansas, 5 Sturgis Rally's, the circle tour of Lake Superior, on many of the best roads in Colorado. Would argue it's the nicest, most frequently ridden 'Blade in the world. Its very well documented history is here:

6,000 miles on the wife's '04 Deuce. Not ridden as much but cared for just as well! Its equally well documented history here:

Well Grey Ghost, it may be a silly question....But take a gander at the vast majority of posts .  Most are about later model bikes.  Not complaining at all, but as I said......."Just curious"  Wondered what happened to all the oldies is all. ???

Hopefully JCZ this one will be seen in the next century.
No trailer queen here, 60,000 plus miles on the 03.
Although we ride the 11.5 and 12 the most right now the 03 Classic and 01 SERG are ridden weekly weather permitting.
