113" 2007 Ultra Classic issues

Gents,
Had one come in last week, 113", with an engine noise, that a dealer set up for the client.
With 180 psi ccp, what would one suspect the reason to lift an intake side ring land on the Wiseco's in that Harley kit?
I have a good idea, but just thought I'd toss it out, for others to weigh in on......

Front piston's top ring land lifted up to the point it was hammering against the head.

Top compression ring butted? I did see a shovelhead stroker do that. It was lugged to death by a very large man. At the time we guessed detonation.
