I have them and no they are not for bar hopping or sitting in the parking lot looking like a Christmas tree  :'( They are there to help be seen in the dark.  I survived one bad accident, so anything that will give me an edge in the dark I'm hanging it off my MC.   ::)  They are legal in my state but like others have said "to each his own"

I did install them on my SE5 I had thought about it for a long time back to my Road King days.  I bought from Custom Dynamics and I would recommend them.
I told Tiffany what I was thinking...that I didn't want the strobe or breathing lights as I was talking to her I sent her a pic of my bike.  She said what a beautiful bike have you thought of white lights they look like diamonds shining off chrome?  This seemed to fit what I wanted something to showoff the chrome but not too much for my tastes.  I bought them and installed them, you don't notice them during a bright day but if it gets cloudy or dark they do look quite nice.
I went with engine kit, front wheel pod, and a strip under each saddle bag bar to balance out the front wheel lights.  No breathing or flashing just a on/ off switch under the left side of that plastic heat shield.
I have had some nice comments that "white was just right" to "look at all that chrome".
I don't regret it at all but its not necessary with bikes that are so Beautiful stock.  It shows a little pride of ownership.

Have them, well hidden, like them would not do it again though.

Too pricey and the wires are to thin for durability.

Forget about it!!!  Spend the $$ on some Works shocks and Front cartridges.  Or LED headlight and passing lights. Way better bang for you buck, and you wont look like a clown going down the road.  ;)

I have had them on my Fatboy since 07 or so.  I really like them, and it makes it easy to see me at night.

I have not put them on either of the CVO road glides, as I trade them at 35 to 40K miles.

I will be putting them on my 13 CVO king as I plan to keep it for a long time.

and you wont look like a clown going down the road.

H'mm I don't ride down the road with them turned on, but if I did I always thought I would look like I was riding a fire bike not a clown car.
Come to think of it, it was at my wife's heeding that I actually put the lights - so now I know what she really thinks after 30 years...........

Guess I'll look for a rubber nose for some effect  :2vrolijk_21:
