Corbin makes an excellent heated seat.  When I first got mine, I thought it was too firm to be comfortable, but boy was I wrong.  I can ride for 14 hours without a sore butt!

Cowboy

Same thing happened to me....I love my Corbin and can ride all day with no problem!

Awe Nuts! :D ;D :P :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :nixweiss: :drink: Sorry I just couldn't help myself! I didn't realize this was a problem for so many and if it was me I'd have to do something too. I have a airhawk I use on long trips but not that new one that has the cut out. Thought it was pretty awesome for them to come out with something like that. If it was me I'd try that first...it's the cheapest! Let me know if that fixes you up because I have a friend here on the site I have ridden with many times and might have same issues. I won't mention his real name so I'll call him Tommy (11HD110). During a 4000 mile ride to get some Lobsta, I kept noticing this guy I call Tommy, soaking his underwear in his ice cooler for about 20 minutes every morning and once in the afternoon. He would pull them out and go in the rest room and I would hear a muffled scream. Out he'd come and I asked him several times what the heck is he doing but never could understand the mumble jumble coming out of his mouth. Sounded something like BB..BB..BB..BAALLLLSS! His wife (I'll call her Judy) said it makes him feel better. So, if you find a fix I would love to pass it on to my friend who I referred to as Tommy Testicles :2vrolijk_21: Thanks man and God Bless ya! :drink:

Got to look out for the Boys, especially since they hang a lot lower than they use to!

I haven't ridden a lot on this bike but when going long distances on my last bike I would wear compression shorts. I wonder if these would help - it holds em up for ya! :P

I am glad to hear I am not a lone nut in this gang...! I have been riding with compression shorts or bike shorts recently, since a 500 mile day made my hurt for several weeks afterwards. I appreciate all the replies and may add the air cushion first to my wishlist. I purchased a CVO and I am try trying not to change the factory look too much..

You may want to try the chilled underware along with the air cushion.  Also might want to put some ice cubes in your jock strap!

I feel your pain , I had the same issue .  As my seat time increased so did my  discomfort . Bought an Air Hawk-R  seat cushion and trouble disappeared .  The "R" was designed for guys with our problem and it worked for me  . Bought it on RevZilla.com , they  price matched .        http://www.airhawk.net/airhawk-r.aspx

Thanks for the link. Looked like a viable alternative to a new seat until I find the one I know I want. Found one on ebay for $142, ordered it on Tuesday and it arrived today, Thursday. Can't beat that for quick shipping. Now to get the bike back together and try this puppy out.

Your welcome .  I only have discomfort (pain)  on rides that require a lot of seat time . Buzzing around town  I have no  problem  so a pad  was the solution I was looking for . Also I  like the looks of my stock  seat  and didn't want to change it out  unless I had to . Got the Air Hawk and I knew right away that the problem was solved  . I hope it works out for you  .  I like  buying from RevZilla.com  or any outfit like them .  I'm always looking for  customer service  , no hassle return , free shipping  and a wiliness' to  price match . Was able to buy mine for $139 new with free shipping . Sometimes things don't work out when you buy from  some of the eBay sellers  and Amazon.com  satellite suppliers .

Gosh I would hate to loose my heated seat, but if that is what it takes... I am ready.

"Roasting chestnuts on a open fire"

I wouldn't want to loose my heat as well, "when Jack Frost is nipping at my nose", but then again I fortunately don't have the same problem.  My seat on my '08 is wonderful, one of the best I have ever had.

If you use a Reach Seat I know from experience that they can rub you the wrong way... Tried one and quickly went back to the regular seat.  Now that it's broken in, it is wonderful.

BTW, I have also heard of guys who have had their stock seat customized by lowering and cutting out some foam also are not happy with the results for the same reason.

I guess the boys at the MoCo ARE thinking about our "boys" when they design seats. At least they did in '08.

Good luck with a solution and I wish I could be more helpful.
