2013 CVO - Saddle Shield Heat Deflector
« on: July 25, 2013, 11:43:57 AM »

Has anyone installed either a Kuryakn or HD Saddle Shield Heat Deflectors on a 2013 CVO Road King?  Had these on my 07 and seemed to help, but cannot confirm fitment on the new bike.  Have installed Fullsac Header, cores and TTS which has helped the heat issue significantly (not to mention the performance)!

Installed the Kuryakin's on my FLHRSE5, and they do help with the heat problem (def needed in TX in the summer.) However, fitment could be better, as they stick out too far, and you have to bend them in towards the engine for side cover removal. Also, they rub on the inside of my thighs when I'm stopped. On the positive side, they look better than the HD ones (which should have been standard on the bike to begin with.)
