2014's?
« on: July 29, 2013, 03:01:51 PM »

Harley is sure tight lipped with any info on the new models. Has anyone heard from any reliable source anything on the 2014's Touring bikes? I almost and going to be forced too trade this fall due to mileage on my 12. But I won't buy a water cooled the first year. I'll just ride what I have and let someone else be the guinea pig.
Also after no new bikes at sturgis last year, I elected not to make the trip this year. That was always one of the main reasons for us to go too see the actual bike before they hit the dealer floor. Huge mistake in my opinion for Harley. :confused5:

The only thing I heard from the local dealership is that there's talk of a new stereo head unit possibly with touch screen instead of the buttons or "soft keys" on the current HK - no commitment from them if it was still an HK unit or another manufacturer.

No rumors being shared about a water cooled bike - but neither of these speculations really mean much until the new model release.

Liquid cooled heads on the Electra Glides with the coolers in the fairing lowers and a new design for gauges and stereo in the batwing fairing. No Road Glide. No significant changes for Road King, Touring and Dyna. Sportsters get ABS.

Entirely different engines.  Very much an apples to oranges (and poor) comparison.
