Wheel Chock Placement
« on: July 29, 2013, 04:28:58 PM »

Can someone with a 7 x 14 trailer help me with the proper location off wheel chocks so I can haul (2) dressers. Example how far from the side of the trailer to centerline of the wheel chock ect.

I wouldn't rely on somebody elses measurements.  I would get a couple of buddies to help me and put two bikes in there and see where I needed to put the chocks.

I agree with the buddies, but you also need to consider where the axel(s) are located so that the weight gets distributed correctly.

Cobra,

They are correct. Get a buddy. run the first one to the left and by the nose about 8-12" from wall Mark it. Your other bike will have to be staggered with front wheel about mid engine of first bike same 8-12" from the wall. Tie both rear wheels or shock mounts brackets to an e channel mounted along rear of trailer this way they will not jump. Thats how I had mine and back and forth to sturgis never an issue.
