Help with getting different hwy peg mounts
« on: July 30, 2013, 02:22:57 PM »

I'm not short by any means, 5'11"  but the standard high peg mounts on my cvo I can barely reach.  There isn't much adjustment for them either with the boxes on the front of the bike.

I saw a bike sunday that had some bars that kind of shaped around the boxes out and closer to mount the pegs too.  I never saw the guy though and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on mounts that will work with the cvo hwy pegs

I also had that problem, 2013 CVO Ultra.  I am 5' 11" and found that the HD angled mounting kit, (short version) is just right for me.  I believe it's part

5'10" and the adjustable long angled are the ones I'm using and like them a lot as well. Plenty of adjustments to get them the way you want them.  :2vrolijk_21:

yes, I was stoked last night,  got them in a place that I liked them,  took the bike out for a ride....

oh snap,  it's in the way of my shifting, lol.

had to readjust them out and up more, but I think they are in good shape now

not to mention, the bars lock down much better than the stock cvo clamps

The Long Angled mounts are what I use. The short and long angled mounts seem to be the only ones that fit around the lower fairings. I have them adjusted to the spot where I can just angle the toe of my boots out onto them, and leave my heels on the floorboards. I ride like this 90% of the time. It's very comfortable.
