Thanks for the post Lynrd!  I have a 11.5 CVO Ultra and installed George's bracket, which gave my Wife (not so small either) enough room.  Curious about your comments on weight distribution, on my 3k trips, we probably have a good 150 lbs in the tour-pak and side bags + strap-on bag.  We mostly ride in the mountains, so a lot of switch-backs and I really haven't noticed much of an issue on the side to side / leaning, but I certainly can tell I am over-loaded in the back when I com to a slow stop.  The front wheel seems very light n wobbly - so we lighten up whenever we get the chance...maybe some dieting will help over the winter too!   :o

Yeah, I've tried dieting; no fun and never worked for me. But my end of the bike is well balanced! (Hope Chief doesn't tell my wife!).  You are fortunate that you have one position that works well for you and your wife.  On the other hand, when I'm fully loaded 2-up with the trunk all the way back, it rides great.  When I'm 1-up with the full load and the trunk all the way back, it still rides great.  When I am 1-up and I push the trunk all the way forward, it rides AWESOME!  Better than empty as the rear tire has more down force and the balance is right behind my butt.  If you never experience it, you won't miss a thing, but if you do, it's icing on the cake.
