I am 5'8'' with about a 28' inseam. I lowered mine 1" front and rear. The dealer told me that they can lower the new frame lower by changing the mid section of the bike. It was originally done for the street glides, but someone that works at the dealer had his ultra lowered this way, as he was short. He supposedly could straddle the bike standing up. It's a bit more costly though.

They changed out the mid section of the frame  . I would like to see how they did that, see if you can get some pictures.

Fat Baggers (FBI) has had a kit on the4 market for years. 

I wasn't impressed when I sat on a bit so equipped, but YRMV.

I had the 1" lower shocks but couldn't stand the bumps when riding 2 up. Better to go with a seat that feels right and add heat if you can.

You can adjust the weight load on the 940's for single or double up?

I sat on a street glide with the FBI drop seat conversion. I didn't like the feel of the position it put me in. And I'm undertall.

I sat on an FBI lowered bike and really liked how it felt, just didn't like the price tag for a CVO lowering kit. Over 3K

I figure then I can sell my heated hammock seat

Better clean out the dog house! I've already spent over $3K on mods, pipes, cores, tune, wiring harnesses, LED headlamps, windshield, etc., and looking at another $2-3K before I get it just the way I want it and I'm not doing anything radical.

For sure... heaven forbid you get out there and find it doesn't work and you can't get to the site so we can give you more ways to spend your money.

If you are a DIY type of guy, consider the DIY airshock system using the Monroe MA785 airshocks and the viair 92 compressor.  I know several here will complain about bashing something together on a CVO, but  it's a pretty cheap experiment.
