TTS Tuner questions
« on: August 08, 2013, 09:17:33 AM »

Is it possible to load the TTS tuner software onto a notebook PC without a CD drive?

I would like to do some V-Tunes just to tinker and see how its done.

I read somewhere that it may be possible to V-Tune without a PC hooked up in the near future, is there ny truth to that?

I loaded my stock tune onto the TTS site and clicked on it, but it only opened another browser with encrypted text.  How do you extract that file from the web site?

I am curious I have read here that some folks carry their tune on a thumb drive, how is this of benefit?  Wouldn't you still need a laptop with the Master Tune software, if so how would you get it while on the road - carry the CD as well....

http://mastertune.net/downloads.htm

If you have internet.  Go to web site and download the updater.  Then run updater.  No disc needed.

FWIW.  If you load from disc.  You will still need the updater.

There is a lot of truth to that.  It hasn't been released yet, but it will.  Hopefully soon.  It will be called "Flight Recorder"  From what I hear.  It's slick.

Edited to add:  HD06 (blue VCI) is needed.

If you have the HD06 (blue vci) The last flash is stored in the VCI.  You still need a computer.

I am thinking of selling my TTS, Fullsac header and mufflers with the 2" baffles.  If I "Restore the ECM" will that make the TTS resellable?  Meaning unlock for the next user.
Thanx

If stand correct, once it's hooked up to a your bike, it's MARRIED for life, unless you have a "TWO" bike TTS turner made for two bikes.

To the best of my knowledge you TTS will only be able to be used on your ECM.

NO.  All it will do is reinstall the original map to your ECM.  The TTS box (VCI) will still be married to your ECM and therefore unusable by anyone else.
