Oh - I just read the credit - Guns 'n Roses - "from the forthcoming album" (do they still call them that) "Better"

Anyway there is a new Harley commercial. Has Paradise City for the soundtrack. Pretty lame...bunch of black sheep running around...yeah like Harley's are for classic biker guy's anymore. They are for accountants and lawyers now. When they tripled in price and stopped leaking oil they stopped being Harley's! Actually I know little about harley's. Never cared for too many of them...too many the last few years have been to pretty...the VRod looks cool...guy I worked with had an old AMF Sportster that I always thought looked very nice. He only rode it about once or twice a year though.

Why worry about the music?  Whoever or whatever it is.  It's a dumass and relatively lame commercial.  Trying to mix something cute with a theme that represents a perception of "badness" is an oxymoronic mixed metaphor that just doesn't work very well.  The talent in the spot was no doubt pretty cheap to hire.  Hopefully they didn't pay a lot for rights to the song.  Because that commercial isn't worth a great deal.

Man, you guys are pretty rough on the MOCO here lately. If you were a certified BLACK Sheep as I, you would recognize the symbolism of the black sheep jumping the fence, breaking away from the norm to take your own road and running with your own kind. It's the do your own thing, don't follow the crowd theme. I admit, it's not the best commercial I've seen, but at least they're not using a talking Gecko !  [smiley=soapbox.gif]
