I only had time to go around the block a few times before my wife dragged me back in for dinner.  Runs great.  Can't really tell if this highflow filter will help much, though I suspect it will be best on the road and higher speeds 8-)

That really looks nice on your Fatboy. This may sound stupid, but I had always wondered when I see filters like that w/o some tip of cover to protect from rain, how they do when it rains. Are there any concerns w/an application like this? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

As clean as that bike looks, I doubt it gets ridden much in the rain. ;)

Fatboy - That's one fine looking ride. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

True Jerry and it is one fine ride, but what about when it's raining? Pull over and wait, or is there a cover to slip over? [smiley=nixweiss.gif] I've wondered about this too! [smiley=nervous.gif]

BTW - K&N makes removable covers for these filters, sort of like a prefilter.

Looks very good on the fb, FB. Especially like the etching on the end cap. Nice ride!

Thanks d00d. The instructions recommend not to ride in the rain with this filter, "This kit is intended for high performance race applications only." and "Racing a motorcycle with an exposed air filter under rainy conditions IS NOT RECOMMENDED, DO NOT RACE IN THE RAIN."

That said, this bike hasn't seen the rain.  It only comes out on sunny days 8-)  I have my 96 for those inclement days. FB
