Hello, has anyone experienced problem with paint issues on their tank  And can give me some delivery times ?  I spotted a problem underneath the clear coat of my tank, also the clear coat around the filler cap started coming loose. I went to my dealer and they admitted that this was a paint problem and told me they ordered a new fueltank under warranty, that was the beginning of June. To day I phoned them to aks when i could expect the new fueltank. They told me that it will be probably the end of September or maybe even later !! So after first waiting for 8 months for the bike itself I am now waiting at least 5 months or even longer for the parts to come. so one thing is for sure, when buying something from the MOCO you must be extremely patient.    
See attached picture, the one in the back was ordered the moment the one up front was arriving new at the dealer !!

I got mine over-nighted because I put a deposit down and I noticed dirt in the clear coat and I was gonna walk from the deal.  I'd think it would be about a month or so now considering the bike are no longer being made.

Your dealer needs to step up and put some pressure on HD.  4-6 weeks is a reasonable amount of time to wait.  To be generous, add another week for overseas shipping.  You should have had your new tank by now. 

Harley Davidson acts as if it's a privilege to buy their products, and we should be honored to put up with their chitty service.  I really shouldn't complain, because I put up with it, too.

Got mine in 2 weeks.  I was pleasantly surprised.  Main thing its on the way and covered by warranty.

Received mine in 2.5 weeks. Was very surprised at the turn around.
