Hmmm, I was treated like a red headed stepchild while beta testing my 07 cuse2 with the first year 110. Perhaps the moco has llearned from that. Nah it's the moco. Who are we kidding?

:ROFLOL: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenjump3: Been a busy day at work and that's the funniest thing I've heard all day. It will take them from now until the cows come home to retrain all the principles in the service departments of said dealers to refrain from using "that's normal, they all do that". :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

I was thinking the same thing Gary.  And even if it holds to be true.....are the going to have a loaner bike in like model at each dealership so that when an owner's bike is tore down and they've sent the parts back to the MoCo.....the inconvience will be minamized to he owner?  Or maybe just double up on the warranty to make it right....instead of two years warranty, it'll be four years.  I mean that shouldn't be a problem if they have confidence in their product. :nixweiss:

Ohhhh......I'm sorry.....I must of dozed off....just dreamin...... :huepfenlol2:

Ok.  I went by my local dealer.  He has several of the bikes in and I wanted to look at the ultras.  (The CVO Limited comes in tomorrow in blue).

I have two pics to post that I have't seen on the site (yet).  The 1st is of the seat.  There is a wiring harness that is very exposed (visible) between the TP and the back of the riders seat.  Regardless of moving the TP or seat forward or back, you cannot hide this.  The shot angle was on the right side of the bike, standing next to the SB and look down at the riders backrest.

The 2nd is of the RPM gauge.  It's tough to see in this photo due to the reflection, but this gauge is the one used on the Tri-Glide.  Look just below center...there is an "R" for reverse.  Maybe down the road they will put a reverse on the ever-heavy bike.  Might as well with all the other metric influences.

Screw the gear designation.  Saddest thing there is a 5500 redline on an engine attached to a machine that costs that much.

Saw a limited  at my local dealer today, some things nice others not nice, wonder how much depreciation is buying it taking it for a ride from one dealer to another, and trading it in on sumpum else?

I saw one in Charlotte this week and it had a Pleather flap that covered  the wiring harness

Accessory catalog will no doubt have a $49 part to cover that.

:nixweiss: Gary - you're becoming such a cynic lately  :orange:
Jerry (grc) must be rubbing off on me. ;) :D :D Seriously though... I still enjoy and love owning a H-D... however I don't like the way that some owners have been treated by H-D and their dealers. They (some) have done their best to destroy the trust of owners of their brand... or is it that I'm just building up tolerance to the "Kool-Aid" and it doesn't get me high like the first hit? :nixweiss: ;D
