2009 CVO touring vs 2011 or 2012 CVO touring (RG)

I know the 110 motors are having issues.  I have a 2010 RG 96" and considering trading into a CVO.   Is there a difference between the 09 vs 11/12 110" motors?

Or should I just keep and run my 10 RG?

Minor differences in the 09 and 12 110 engines in the CVO road glide.  Lifters are the weakest link in both.  I had the 09 SERG and now have the 13 SERG.

13 they up graded the lifters or so they say.

Compensator is different between the 09 and the 12.  The 12 is more heavy duty.

66246 miles on my 2009 CVO RoadGlide ( D&D 2 into 1 W/ SERT ), kept up with all scheduled maintenance, bought 2 rear tires, 4 front tires, 1 battery; Repairs - Stator plug and Shift shaft seal. Compression 200 in both front and rear with drip down being 3% in front and 4% in rear. Lifter have not been an issue on this bike to date.

Starting in '11, they did away with the bronze bushings for the connecting rods, and also in the cam support plate I believe. Jury is still out in whether that was a good idea or not.

No, I am getting great mileage out of the rear tires 30000 per,( riding 2  up ) and replace the front every 13000.
