Ask yourself two questions regarding the salesman's info.:

1. What is the salesman's basis of knowledge (how does he know what he knows)?
2.  What is his reliability (has he ever been ahead of the curve on any other HD news)?

I really doubt the MoCo leaked any "secret" news with dealerships' sales staff.  I imagine his source isn't any more enlightened than any of us.

Would the lowers be that much different than the lowers on the 2011 and 2012?  Pictures I've seen so far don't seem to look a lot different except for the small radiator portion.  The size and shape seem to be the same.

Well when my Friend that works in the final assembly plant told me WATER COOLED for 2014 I reported it here on the site and was laughed at. He also told me they were having problems with the STREET GLIDE. Sooooo that rumor might just be very true. I will place another call and see if he will give me anymore info!!! No promises but I will try.

I have decided to adopt a wait and see attitude.  If I could find a gently used 2012 CVO SG, that is priced fairly, I would buy it.  Problem is I am not going to give someone near original retail price for a 3 year old bike!  So I guess I will just be happy terrorizing the roads with my 06, a bike which is just nasty when you want it to be.  Funny thing, everyone is gaga over the radio/communication system in the new ultra....  I have never had the radio on with my current bike! Probably couldn't hear it anyway!.  Thanks for the replies. Spook.
