I've completed the detachable TP project on my CUSE8 (step-by-step pictures to follow), and temporarily routed the amp into the left saddlebag.

Now I'm looking to install an aftermarket amp inside the fairing instead of the stock amp in the saddlebag - something like an Arc Audio or Hawg Wired.

However, when I removed the fairing for the hidden antenna installation, I noticed that on top of the receiver unit there are already 3 components mounted to it (infotainment, iPod & XM radio modules, I think).  There doesn't seem to be any room to mount an amp in there. 

In other threads on this site I've read that the amp CAN be mounted on top of the receiver, but with these modules already sitting on the receiver, I don't see enough real estate to mount it in there.

Help please.
