HARLEY CVO SHIPPING
« on: October 24, 2006, 10:57:43 PM »

Hello, my name is Ken from Los Angeles. I have been "lurking" over this site and I finally decided to make a post.  You ladies and gentlemen are great and have a lot of valuable input and assist fellow members. I would like to know, Stealer says my "estimated" ship date is Oct 13, they told me they called Harley and  that all the shipping is on time. their is no VIN assigned. Other problem is the stealer sales people does not return my calls since friday. I have patience, as I know to get a CVO you have to, its part of the birth. Its a smurf Ultra:) I'll have to visit the stealer in person.  I know there was a delay but i believe that is over.  any one else experiencing this delay? Any advice/input is appreciated. Hopefully it will be here when i come back from vacation next Friday. Thanks:)

Welcome Ken! I would not be too concerned with the dealer. afterall he has made the sale to you, I bet his attention is now going to prospects that have not signed on the bottom line.
I am looking forward to your bike arriving so we all can help you start spending real money on your soon to develop OCD. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
Again welcome aboard Bro.

They could be waiting for a couple of their famous peeling chrome items to come in from other dealer warranty claims to install on your bike. ;D ;D ;D Because they rarely accept responsibilty for these, they are always running low. ;D

Let's see.......that could be due to paint issues cause they still ship them with high speed wobble issues. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

MrKen...don't fret too much over a couple of weeks delay...my 06 was delayed three weeks, then we were all surprised when it came in a week earlier than expected.  I know it's hard to wait...just get on some of these threads and see all the goodies you are going to have to put on that new scooter...you just THOUGHT it came with "everything".  I put the deposit down...then made the fortunate mistake of finding this place...spent 2K before it was even in production...since delivery...let's see...I don't really want to think about it or I might start  :'( :'(  Every dime has been worth it, and every hour spent here has also been worth it.

They're just "buffing out" those runs in the paint, so don't sweat it!   ;D ;D

 Welcome aboard!!!

Welcome, Mr Ken, and especially to another Blues Brother. I really don't think there is any shipping delay, I think that is just the dealer's way to get you to quit calling so they can keep taking more people's $$$. Hope you get yours soon you are going to love it. [smiley=banana.gif]

Welcome Ken, dont fret at least your dealer did not sell your scooter out from under you, like mine did. My delay was only 3 extra months. All worth it though [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]Stick around the site, lots of valuable info and men and women to spend your money for you [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

[smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] That is impressive, if there were more of us doing that they could get the parts in, re-chrome and get them on the new bikes quicker. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
