Need Prayers for a friend

One of my good friends and employee was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease yesterday.  Has known for months it was 99% sure, but it was comfirmed yesterday.

Everett Shreve has been my quality manager for the past nine years and is a brilliant man.  He has a photographic memory, not only in all aspects of business but can repeat versus of the Bible word for word.

Doctors took him out of work for good yesterday, as they feel he has had the disease since 2006 so his body is very weak.

Please say a prayer for him, he is a good Christian and is ready for what God has in store for him.

Remember that when a fellow Christian leaves this world that is is only a temporary separation and that we that knew them here will get to see them again when it is our turn.  Take joy in his faith.

My prayer is also that all those who are touched by a relationship of any kind with Everette will hold fast to the love of our Lord and in the knowledge that He has prepared a place with Him for all his children.

 Thanks for all the prayers everyone. We visited Everett yesterday and I am amazed at how tired he is.  Not getting out of bed till around 10:00. Spirits are good and his faith in God has not faltered.  Praying for a divine miracle.  His Dr. is writing a paper on Everett's case and they collaborate via e mail as talking makes him very tired.
