MGS True Duals ?
« on: September 03, 2013, 10:33:00 PM »

Would love to get some advise on the MGS True Duals along with the tuner and vacuum plate for the air cleaner on the 2014 CVO Limited - Does anyone have any experience with this product ? Does the bike run cooler, more power, better fuel economy etc... any suggestions or help would be great

CB, I am no expert on this sort of thing but I wanted to let you know "we" are listening.  I checked out their website and didn't find much about the technical questions you ask.  Moreover, this is a California based source so they don't post anything that would put them "over the top" of your EPA standards out there. That, plus you are asking about 2014 models and since they have only been out a few weeks there isn't much of a learning curve as yet.  But give this a day or two, these guys are really something and one of our "Master Gearheads" will address your inquiries.  Sorry I cannot be of more help, but I would rather you wait for the right answer than a "fast" one.

The 02 sensor on the rear pipe is a problem where it's placed.....any reversion will give the ECM false readings which will effect the tune or make it difficult to tune under 3000 rpm's. The way the pipe comes out of the rear cylinder and over the primary also makes your left leg VERY warm and your passengers shoe VERY hot.......not a good choice in my opinion.
Look at Rush True duals or the Fullsac XD pipe.....both of these are winners.

I run the MGS true Duals and SERT on my skunk. I love these pipes, the sound and perfomance is very good. I tried the Fullsac and Dragos 2-1. I like the sound of the MGS better. The preformance numbers were very close on all 3 pipes.
