My heart is torn to read this thread! Yet another tragic incident! First I want to praise God for your response to seek prayer for a brother! Often I hear people respond by saying "All" we can do is pray! Prayer is one of the greatest things we can do!!!! Many on this board can testify to the Power of Prayer in their life!
We are all just a heartbeat away from eternity! It's at a time like this that we reflect on it. Many of us have had or have a child at this age. Many of us have ALMOST been in the position your friend is in. It can happen to anyone of us at anytime!
Rick, I have and will continue to pray for your friend. I would appreciate at least a 1st name so I can add his name to our prayer list at church. Same with the family of this child. Send me a PM if wish to keep it quite. May I recommend anyone else that has the availability to do the same to do so. Much prayer will be needed! Finally, Rick I pray that God gives you wisdom and strength to support your friend and choose your words wisely. May he also see God's Love thru you and know that he is not alone!!!
