Have the HD 7" windsplitter on my '12 . Does not touch the GPS.

Clearview, Freedom, Windvest...any good windshield that has the recurve on the top edge will do the job.  Measure carefully and buy it once...in your normal riding position, you want to be able to see over the windshield and be able to seen an object on flat ground that is about 50 feet in front of you.  That usually works out to be, as someone mentioned, between your mouth and your nose.  The recurve acts like a windshield that is 2" taller....it is ill advised to look through a windshield in normal riding position.

Most of the companies have instructions on their websites on how to measure...it's pretty critical to get it right.

I don't agree, I look thru the windshield & have never had a problem & a hell of a lot less wind that way. When it gets dirty we stop & clean it just like in a car
