Anyone here use an inversion table?
« on: September 06, 2013, 08:38:39 AM »

I've been considering one. A guy a work has some back issues and uses it to relieve pressure on his back. Figure I'd toss this out here and see if anyone on here uses one and what kind of results are you seeing?

Never used a table, but used the boots years ago when I was younger. I think they caused more problems than they solved. Have been told the table is better because it gives support to the back while using.

I had one and never received any relief from it.  Later found out that my right leg is 5/8" shorter than my left (not uncommon) so that had to be addressed.  Everyone is different maybe it would work for you, any chance of getting to borrow one?  My first one was built with modified boots to support a bar and used my electric wench to pull me up, used a car creeper to slide up gradually.  Sometimes I was worse getting off the inverter.  Good luck, back pain is something we all get to experience.

Been using one for years.
Just love it.
I use it for a few minutes after I lift, really helps relieve pressure on my lower back.
Helps me get through riding season is far less pain.

That's funny, I did not know you were a trained Massage Therapist also Ken!
I also think I can help that poor girl with her back problems. Using my method she would
not even have to wear that uncomfortable over the shoulder boulder holder ever again.
She would be much more comfortable!
