Exhaust tips?
« on: September 08, 2013, 04:00:33 PM »

Does anyone offer a traditional tapered chrome tip for the CVO touring mufflers? I don't like the slanted look or other fanciness.

Is this the style your seeking? if so there are none to my knowledge that would fit CVO,s you can get turn downs to fit and fishtails but I haven't found any taper tips that would mount up.

Yeah like that kinda, but a lot milder taper is what I had pictured in mind.

Im an admitted muffler addict Ive probably tried 90 percent of the mufflers and baffles on the market looking for that elusive perfect sound, IMHO no one muffler does it all some sound better at idle, others cruising and some under acceleration still looking lol

I haven't run the Supertrapp stouts but I will eventually, the price for new ones is ridiculous IMHO as soon as I run across a decent used set ill give them a try, it would seem that the later version designed for the 10 and up models  with cats in the headpipe would be considerably louder on a non cat bike, I did pick up a similar set of Kerker Stouts that were pretty scraped up and ran them for a while, they were almost identical but used a different baffle. they were too loud for my old ears, but sound is very subjective. im sure some would love the noise.
