2014 colors
« on: September 09, 2013, 07:18:14 PM »

I got a chance to see the Blue up close last week. I am not a blue guy, but was impressed up close. Today saw the silver/orange and was blow away by how beautiful it was. Have not gotten a chance to see the red up close. Was wondering if anyone has seen it up close and their impressions? I have a chance to get a red/maroon or silver/orange. I was leaning towards the red but was stunned by the silver/orange.

The red is very sharp.  Some on here will say they are faster too.  IF I was looking, the red would probably be my choice --- for looks --- not speed.

But...what a bonus!....you pick the best color.....and it just happens to be the fastest as well!

Have seen 2 red and am very disappointed as they are very bland.Look like two tone with a weird tiger stripe sort of graphic dividing the 2 colors typhoon maroon and blazing burgundy .Even under bright  halogen light it looks pretty dull.Bay far the worst paint job Ive seen yet on cvo model.Quess the moco had to cut corners somewhere with all the new improvements they provided for 2014.I quess the extra 1500 wasnt enough to warrant a cvo paint job.

Got to dis-agree - I think the red is sharp nice contrast and good paint work for a big bagger - It's every bit the quality as my 09 Fat Bob Diamond black and Fire Quartz - to each his own - without question the best by far all around big bagger Harley has ever produced

Everybody likes something different but I am not much of a maroon/burgundy guy so I went sunset/silver and I am loving every minute of it. :2vrolijk_21:

Still haven't seen a scheme that catches my eye like my Ruby Red/Typhoon maroon combo  :nixweiss:

I like the dark red, maroon colors as well.  All of the CVO paint jobs seem well done.

The Sunset/Silver looks beautiful in the pic. I'll bet it's stunning in person!

Of course, anything with ORANGE in it will always get my vote!

I'm kind of leaning your way! I like the Blue (wife says so), but maybe I can change her mind?
