I have an '06 B/C CUSE. All the things I wanted to do to my previous bike, this thing already had them, and then some. So, I took the plunge, foolishly thinking I wouldn't have to spend anymore money! What an idiot. Anyway, I was at a rally/ride event and another rider was admiring my bike and telling me about his new '06 Ultra. He had poured over $10K of extras into that bike and still did not have: 103", heated seat, heated grips, custom wheels, limited edition paint (and my paint was OK, BTW), painted inner fairing, and other doo-dads. Granted, he customized his bike to his liking and intends to spend more money. To each his own. I saw the value of buying a limited factory custom and I don't think I'll lose my a$$ on it if I decide to sell. But, I don't intend to. The other guy would not be so fortunate, but he will enjoy the mods he made because he will ride it and have fun with it. If you are going to spend alot of extra money modifying a stock Ultra, as has been mentioned earlier you will not get much return on that expenditure in a sale, or especially, a trade-in. The next guy makes out on that deal. But, you have definitely come to the best website to help you make the decision. Let us know what you do.
