Time To Say Goodbye My Fellow FLTRUSE Owners....
« on: September 10, 2013, 09:45:30 PM »

Yes, after 17,000+ miles on my CVO Road Glide Ultra it`s time to move on. Since I do mostly 2 up riding with the BSR I'm gonna jump into 'Trike Land`.

It`s been fun my friends.....  :(

You don't have to go anywhere. Trikers are welcome here.

There have not yet been any CVO Tri Glides... but there's always hope! You don't have to leave!

However, if you are going to a trike, the best trike-specific forum out there is http://TrikeTalk.com.

Our own Mr. Wizard is a mod there... just don't tell him you know me!

Jerry don't leave, more of us will be switching to a trike in the next few years. I have started
looking. As we age and still want to ride, a trike may fit the bill.
Good Luck.

Ever drove one? There is a reason HD dropped them in favor of the trike! I have a friend who bought
one and he said it's really bad on the highway in the wind, and wishes he would have bought a trike instead.

just convert yours into a trike, sell the take off parts on E-bay and recoup $1500.00 to 2500.00 for the back half of the bike.

Thanks for the kind words. I will still lurk around on here. This is by far THE BEST and most informative motorcycle forum around. I truly mean that. No attitudes...just good people.

I was seriously thinking about converting my Road Glide to a trike. I love the color and features. But when you run down the improvements the MOCO has made on the 2014 models...it just doesn't make sense.

My wife and I just completed a 1700+ mile, 10 day trip a few weeks ago and I learned something: Worrying about roads and weather conditions on a fully loaded 2 wheeler WITH a passenger just ain`t fun. Too much stress. So, it`s time too add a third wheel. Gotta say I'm looking forward to a little less worry and hopefully a little more comfort for my BSR of 31+ years. I will post some pics when the new 'toy' arrives. Be safe on the mean streets my friends.......  ;)

Jerry... We will look forward to pics and stories about your 2014 Tri Glide.. and the adventures you experience on it.

On a trike, you won't have to be concerned about any of that... you can just ride and have new adventures!

Just don't forget us...

Ken, is it true it doesn't even rain on a trike?
