'Erroneous and Miscalculated' Charges in Sandy Cleanup
« on: September 11, 2013, 08:54:00 AM »

What a surprise.
Living in the middle of this this really hits close.

This company, florida based ashbritt, was a NO-BID CONTRACTOR hired by Christie.

And to top that, the State hired 5 major cleanup contractors to do the work. Only one is from New Jersey. The rest are from down south, mostly the Bayou area.
When we did some oil cleanup work in Gulf after the platform explosion, we had to rent local vehicles, as no out of state plated contractor vehicle were allowed in many of the sites. We didn't have an issue with that, just rented the vehicles as requested and hired as many locals as we could.

If Ashbritt was a "no-bid" contractor, it sounds like Governor Christie sought them out for the job.  Maybe it's time to elect a new Governor for the state of New Jersey.   :-\

There are always pond scum skimmers........its our governments duty to weed them out and they don't do their duty.
