Didn't offend me Ed!
But then again the only thing that offends me is a lack of horsepower.

Sorry, My post is started before I've finished. >:(
I wrote : I think that it's not a mistake. 8-)
Also, I look for a Air Cleaner Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage one but we have active intake on our models ???? :-[
For the management of the Air/fuel, it's seems that it's to too much early. The products are not in the definitive version. :(
And the last but not sure a set of true duals V&H. They are ok for O2 sensors but we have active exhaust and I know not the solution. :(

Best regards

And we thought we had problems with specs and finding upgrades for the bikes in the States.

Good luck with your winter project and finding the correct fit for the OCD items you desire to improve and personalize your new ride for Spring delivery [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

To Rjob749,
Thanks for your wishes ! The winter is a good season to fill its wish list !

To Eqcons,
Thank you for these informations.
They confirm my thoughts
Concerning the rear fender, I think to remove the number plate bracket and :
- to put a fender tip on the holes,
- to put a curved license plate mount (Kuryakyn);
- to fix the license plate with two LED license plate bolt lights.
Now I look for to buy at the best price in the States a set of Oval SO V&H.
For the A/C and Management Air/fuel, I'll wait 2 or 3 months ....

Hi Jacques,

Thanks for your message. I am also thinking about the upgrades. However, I look more on performance/touring side of things at present:

- Kuryakyn heat shields
- Brembo brakes (recomended on this site)
- Hawg wired music (recomended on this site)
- Road Zepellin seat
- Lower front glass
- Xenon lights (both High and Low beam)
- Various storage pockets
- Improving seating space for rear passenger (by moving the trunk to the back) - I have seen on this site a recomended solution and have it noted somewhere
- Installation of Garmin Navigator - I do not believe HD will ship us bikes with Navigation
- Installation of Ipod

I think this lists most of upgrades I want to do by the begining of the season.

Jim,

I do not think HD will ship us our bikes with GPS - European market is not that important.  We will see.  I really wish your are right.

Quite concerned about the CB radio issue.  Quite a handy thing in my view. I quite like it. Will be shame if this issue is not fixed.

Regards

Morning !

Your bike give a god idea concerning the european models.
I think to go in the same way than yours for my wish list !
Concerning the rear fender, it's interresting to see yours.
The license plate under the Tour pack is illegal in France but it's the best way for to hide the Amp.
Finally, I think to choose this solution.
Is it necessary to mount the same fender tip with light?
Is the fender tip #59315-98 not enought ?
What is the ref # of the V logo on the rear fender ?
Also, I look for the Nostalgic Saddlebag Guard Rails for to protect the saddlebag.
Is it necessary to change the Saddlebag Filler Strips ?
About the Headlamp, I ride a little the night and I thought that Dual Bulb Halogen Headlamp Kit #67864-04 would be enought. But the HID (Kuryakyn : Low and High beam) is not so expensive than the HD.....

Rubaga,
Concerning the GPS, it seems that we have a european version (look the description in my first mail).
It's not so fun than a garmin, sure !

Regards
Jacques

Yes, it's illegal here too, Claude - but we can usually get away with it if the number plate is a decent size.

No, it's not essential to have the light - 59315-98 will be OK.

What is the ref # of the V logo on the rear fender ?

Cloisonne, rear fender (chrome and black)  59423-03  You won't be able to order one without a VIN though - it's a protected part.

Also, I look for the Nostalgic Saddlebag Guard Rails for to protect the saddlebag.
Is it necessary to change the Saddlebag Filler Strips ?

Yes, the orginals have no slot for the guard rails - or you can leave them off completely.

About the Headlamp, I ride a little the night and I thought that Dual Bulb Halogen Headlamp Kit #67864-04 would be enought. But the HID (Kuryakyn : Low and High beam) is not so expensive than the HD.....

I don't think the dual bulb light will be that good.  I have the HD HID headlamp, and it's a little disappointing. 1) it doesn't fit properly - should never have been shipped the way it is 2) it is not that well manufactured - mine has fingerprints on the INSIDE of the glass!  But mine is the "B" rev, I think, and now they are on "C" - maybe they are better.  Certainly the Kuyrakyn one must be better, if it has HID on both beams!  Although I'd think that it's just as illegal in Europe as the HID Dual Halogen and HID ones are - No  "E" mark. (Also, they have no sidelamp!)  The best headlamp I had was on my FLHTCUI; I fitted an old (but unused) Cibi

It would be good to have GPS from HD even if it is not Garming. Will simplify things.  Look forward to it.

To check they really ship with GPS now need to wait for someone here to get the bike. I certainly will not be the first to get mine as I exect it some time in march.

Whoever gets first please post description and pictures.

Thanks

Morning all !
to Eqcons,

Is the bike delivered with the Tour Pack and saddlebag liner ?
Do you have add a tour pack and saddlebag lid organizers ?
In this case, what are the references ?

Yesterday, I have bought a Billet License Plate Frame #60060-04 on Ebay US (68$ include the shipping cost = 50 euros, in France it'll be 150 euros)  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif].
Finally, my license plate wil be under the Tour Pack.
Already, I have bought  :):
- Fuel Tank Fitting Cover #62809-06
- Jiffy Stand Extension Kit #50233-00
- Chrome Front Speaker Trim #74604-99
- Fairing Mount Mirrors #91945-98B but I know not if I'll mount these because I wish to have a WILD 1 CHUBBY BAGGER BAR . But with the new position, I do not know if the back vision is always good  [smiley=confused5.gif]

To Rubaga :
One of the first delivered in Europe will the Snurebakken's bike, in November !
Wait and see !

Regards
Jacques

Good Morning Bisonours!

Is the bike delivered with the Tour Pack and saddlebag liner ?

Yes.

Do you have add a tour pack and saddlebag lid organizers ?

No - there is already not enough room in them, so I don't want to take up more!  I doubt that there is an organiser that will fit the leather tourpak though - it's a very different shape inside the lid than the ordinary tourpak.

Yesterday, I have bought a Billet License Plate Frame #60060-04 on Ebay US (68$ include the shipping cost = 50 euros, in France it'll be 150 euros

Yes, we have the same sort of pricing here in the UK as you do in France!  :-/

Finally, my license plate wil be under the Tour Pack.

Don't forget you will also need a new rear light lens, with the clear window on top to light the number plate - your bike will come with a completely red one. Also because the bracket for the licence plate frame is a fair bit larger than the frame itself, it doesn't look good (one of the reasons that on my current bike I went for a bigger number plate with no frame; the exact size to cover the bracket) so on my last Ultra, where I used a licence plate frame, I took the bracket off and had it black powder coated.

Already, I have bought  :):
- Fuel Tank Fitting Cover #62809-06
- Jiffy Stand Extension Kit #50233-00
- Chrome Front Speaker Trim #74604-99
- Fairing Mount Mirrors #91945-98B but I know not if I'll mount these because I wish to have a WILD 1 CHUBBY BAGGER BAR . But with the new position, I do not know if the back vision is always good  [smiley=confused5.gif]

A good start - I see you have the same chrome addiction that everyone else does!  ;D

One of the first delivered in Europe will the Snurebakken's bike, in November !

Mine is also due this month!

"Stock mirrors" ??
(...)

This means that the bikes in Europe do not get the matching mirrors as in the U.S., but the same mirrors like every other H-D. You need to buy the nicer ones separately. It was the same on my SEEG2.

My shipping date (SERK3, black ice) was confirmed for Dec 22, 2006. It'll be here sometime mid-January. Can't wait. And I'll take it out on the first dry day ;-).
To the U.S. members: Has anyone changed the passenger pegs for the boards, and which parts did you use?
To the European SERK owners: I have posted a lot of pictures of the SERK (red) which was displayed at the European Bike Week in another thread. Most noticeable differences vs. the U.S. versions are the clear windshield and the big air cleaner cover (same as SEUG).

Drive safe!

Hello Louis,

Welcome on this topic ! [smiley=drink.gif]
Concerning the mirrors, I think that it'll be the mirrors of the last year : stock mirors like every other HD ! >:(
It's mentionned in my attached file in the first post. 8-)
Santa will have a little delay but mid-January, it's enought for to dream at all upgrades an so on...
before the spring.

Best regards
