Thanks for posting.  I still didn't see the integrators (adaptive fuel values) get off zero.  So, still no insight on what the PV leaves behind.

You didn't see it go from 100 to 75 two times then it gave up and stayed at 100.  Like I said if I would have taken it out and rode it it might have done something but my bike is not quite stock either with it being a dyna with Throttle by wire, heavy breather, basturd TH 2-1, Andrews 57 cams with a +4 sprocket and its still a 96" with 5.3 injectors.

Maybe your bike isn't the best to deal with then.  Good news is.  It's rich.  A good test would of been to see them active and working.  One blip?  Doesn't really prove the PV leaves the ECM the way it found it in the first place.

Even when proven wrong you still just can't admit it can you.  But that's fine because the O2 sensors were online and working and the closed loop was also active, I guess I don't know what else to prove to you.  What may have happened with someone else may have been a fluke with the new tuner having an issue or not reflashing properly I don't know for sure?

You know what, your the one that's misleading people here. I have had to solve this issue no less than 20 times already, so it's a real problem and you just do not want to admit it. One case I know of has already had HD red flag the powertrain warranty too.  Doesn't matter because your never going to believe anyone anyways. The old saying still holds true.......

Proven wrong.  How is that?  What did I say that you proved differently?  What did you prove at all?  I talked about a problem some one else had.  He had it.  The O2 did put out a voltage.  That's what they do.  Doesn't matter if it is in closed loop or open loop.  The O2 puts out a voltage.  What your doesn't show, is what the ECM is doing with that input.  What I would like to see is the sort term fuel trims work.  You know.  How the Delphi system works.  In the attached DM file you can see that the O2 sensor out put is being read and used by the ECM.  That is why you see the O2 voltage goes up and down.  Your trying to prove something and you have no concept of what is going on.

Mabie you should go to Vegas to be trained how to use the PV properly.  That would probably alleviate some of the issues that you have encountered.  I have used this product quite a bit and have not had any of these issues.  I'm not saying that you have not had issues but I don't know all of the circumstances that you had issues. Did you contact dynojet about the issues that you have had?

So how does this solve it for everyone else out there? Still doesn't make the problems go away in the field now does it. The last customer had tried to work with Jamie for over a year on his issues, PV then PVAT the whole nine yards.... guess what. Couldn't solve it!

Once again you have no idea of what you are talking about.

That's what I'm saying I really haven't heard of anyone else having issues so they prob. don't need to go for training.  Can you give some specific examples of the issues that you have encountered?  What was the warranty issue that you spoke of.

Joe

The one case that I know of that went to HD factory the ECM was return as a warranty issue, HD kicked it back and red flagged the VIN for the bike. No more warranty, period. The others I have been involved with had issues all related to not running properly and the dealer not being able to get it to work correctly even after a DT reprogram either! Upon further inspection the ECM needed to be corrected then things began to work right. Some switch to our tuner and some did not, once the problems were fixed in the ECM. You keep trying to claim it's not real but on this very board you've seen reports from others but yet you keep saying NO it's not real. Get over it, as it's real and out there. You only get to see what comes into the shop you work at, you have no idea of what goes on around the rest of the world. Let alone you donot have the knowledge or tools to do the testing. You use a PV and that's great for you but it has problems just like everyone else does. IF you bothered to read what others have written  on this very board you can even see where Jamie tried to say it could have been early firmware and on and on. I don't really care what the excuse is, I already know how to fix it and have done so to help out were I could.

You bitch an moan about locked tunes and PV can have locked tunes and it can and does screw with the ECM and doesn't remove it when put back to stock, fact not ficton.

So you haven't heard of a problem. :confused5:  I am sure when people have a problem switching from a PV to  TTS.  The dealership is the first place they call.  I have been to Vegas for school.  I have been to other manufactures schools.  In all the tech schools I have been through in my 22 years of being a professional mechanic.  I have never been to a tech school were they address taking off their product and installing somebody else's product.

This is a problem that a well respected tuner had.  He mentioned it in another thread.  Did you read that?  Is it made up?  It is a problem that can be encountered.  I would like to know the problem and how to get it fixed.  I never said I have had an issue.  I have yet to uninstall a PV for anything, BUT I can see it happening with the volume of builds and tunes going through my shop.  I would like to learn and be aware. So, if it ever does come up.  I can start at square 3 or 4 instead of one.

How did you get your vision to power on and off with the key with the DT plug in?  I thought the only input the PV had was data port?  ...and a computer.  time 3:14, 3:30 and 5:23

"So you haven't heard of a problem.   I am sure when people have a problem switching from a PV to  TTS.  The dealership is the first place they call."

I haven't had to have a customer buy another tuner for whatever reason so I guess I haven't ran into this issue.  If the customer already has a sepst I tune it. If it has a tts i tune it. If they have a PCV I tune it.  If they have a fuel crack I tell them I'm sorry.lol.

"How did you get your vision to power on and off with the key with the DT plug in?  I thought the only input the PV had was data port?  ...and a comuter time 3:14, 3:30 and 5:23"

There is a third way and that's with the wideband kit which I have setup from a different power source than the data plug.  What are the clock times that you put?

" You keep trying to claim it's not real but on this very board you've seen reports from others but yet you keep saying NO it's not real. Get over it, as it's real and out there. I know a few people from around the world and with knowing them allows me to experience their problems.  Sorry I'm on my phone so its kinda a pain to dona a lot of searching but I only seen wizards issue, but I guess there are others?  You have only said that they don't run right but still haven't given specifics like if the sensors were shut off or the cubic inches were off or is it deep inside the matrix that the issues lie.  Mabie I have the good bike/PV combo that doesn't have issues?  I can believe that for some reason an ecm can be corrupted or some other issue  because I have seen it with some tuners and I have even seen harley replace ecm or tuner because of issues.  Mabie your right and I just don't have the tools and knowledge but I think its weird that your the only one with these capabilities that have found these  issues. But as long as you prove everyone else wrong then you must be right, kinda like that movie with the lobbyist from "Thank you for smoking"

I think you are confused. You have me claiming things I have not claimed.  Having problems I don't have.  People sell bikes and not always the tuning device it's tuned with.  Some times people read forums or get talked into something else by a manufacture or a huge reseller for that manufacture.  My personnel 09 bought used. I unhooked the PCIII and threw it in the draw with the rest.  I'm not insisting there is a problem.  You are insisting there is not, and........ You don't know.  Put the bike on the dyno. Warm it up. Lets see O2 activity.  2 minute idle run. WTFIT?  Maybe you can talk someone that runs a dyno into it for you.

Joe

I'm not the only one but you seem to want to ignore anything that doesn't fit what you want. Why should I tell you what it is and how to fix it? If you want to believe it's not an issue that's fine by me but please stop misleading people and saying there is no issues when you have one sitting right in front of your nose. That one was the same as all the others and that's the reason I was able to fix it in about 10 minutes since I knew just what was wrong and how it got that way. You can't fix it, Jamie can't fix it, as I said neither of you have the knowledge or tools to be able to do it! It has to be fixed by the guys that make the software for DynoJet. You tune maybe 2 bikes a week if your lucky, for about maybe 50 bikes total on a good year and you just started doing it last year. I talk with that many about every week and have been doing this for about 13 years just on HD bikes! I've been tuning EFI in the cars and truck side since 1988. Do you really wonder who is going to see what's really going on?
