Project Engineer is fairly low on the totem pole, so you really wouldn't be the name behind the product.  Now, Director of Operations, that's more like it.

Actually, I've decided that once I retire from my current gig in February I'm going to approach the MoCo about becoming a CVO consultant and test rider.  I figure my first recommendation will be to produce a SE Road/Tour Glide prototype to my specs, which I will then thoroughly test for the next year or two.  Of course, full reports and recommendations will be submitted as time permits (you know, bad weather days when you can't ride). I've really not had any thoughts of trading my 05 on the 06 or 07's but if you are right and I think you are, an 08 SERG will cause many sleepless nights for me this August. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

See...one 'nanner will be for sale  ;) ;)

It would be interesting to find out how the MoCo decides which model bike will get a CVO the upcoming year. Do they look at some data showing which models sold the most in the last 0 - 5 years? Do they just randomly pick a model? Do they come here and lurk and see what the members of CVOHarley.com are craving for? :o ;D

I was really surprised this year when they re-introduced the SERK before going back to the SERG. I would also think that the FLHX would get a CVO model sometime in the future. Many would say that the FLHX was born because of the interest in the SEEG (present company included), but I still say the MoCo is missing an opportunity if they don't explore the option of a FLHXSE.

Either way I
