Front turn signal relocation
« on: September 28, 2013, 11:37:28 PM »

Has anyone used a relocation kit to move the front turn signals from the handle bars down to the front forks?  I though I read a series of posts about that before, but now I can't find it.  Looking for the HD part number for the applicable kit for my 2011 ConV.  Thanks...

I relocated my 2010.  Had to make a hole in the cover for the wires to come out clean.  Used a little figure 8 kit that I got with my faring.  The top went in my lower quick mount bolt and the light went right on the other end.

Took the wires out of the handlebars and they fit just fine without any splices.

2011 and 12's are different than 10's though.

Jasray,  when making the photo my memory was refreshed.   I didn't use any adapter. ???   I bought one but when I went to install it, the light worked without anything better.

I had longer bolts for the faring application,  so I just bolted it on and wired it up.  Not sure if the later models are exactly the same or not, mine is 2010.

Here is the pics.

Your welcome, Jim.

You will need to drill a hole in the housing to run wires through.   I bought a grommet from O'reilly Auto,  worked great.  See picture.
