Wil these work with the Freedom true duel exhaust does anyone know??, I was just about ready to try buying a set of the '07 HD adjustable pads, but the parts guy said he doesnt think they will work with my exhaust. Ill have to wait till one of you '07 guys that live in Cali. wise up and start taking your bike to HD-Dude for upgrades/repairs, so I can dry fit the left one on my bike   8-)

I installed mine on  my 06 SEUC after changing the rear footboard hanger to the solid square chrome piece (I have the Freedome exhaust true duals).  It was easy to install and the wife loves them.  I keep them unlocked, that way you can shift them back and forth as needed.  Just be careful about tighting the hardware, as you can over do it and snap the bolt with ease.

103,
Can't get you a picture right now.  The left side was tight but kept about 1/4 in clearance from the pipe with it in the unlocked position.  The problem comes in if you try to lock the left side, not enough clearance for the locking knob.  It is fully functional in the full up and full down position, swings easy to either position. I will try to get you a pic later.  Ed

I had a set for my '05 SEEG but when I switched to the "Freedom Pipes", the clearance was reduced and I couldn't keep the left peg on.  Seems the pot metal is so soft that the bottom attachment fitting has broken off.  In fact, I picked up a replacement attachment and as I was installing it, tightening the bolt, it actually cracked and broke.  I'm debating on what to do next.  When they worked, my wife, also short, really appreciated the ability to move her feet up on the longer cruises.

I installed these on my '06 jsut before our trip to Sturgis this summer. The great thing about them is with Rhineharts, in addition to giving your significant other a way to stretch out her legs, also with the adaptor on the left side and it gets the foot board out away from the pipe.  I used to have to clean the left side pipe after each ride as my wife's boot would touch the pipe and melt rubber on the pipe.  Also she would complain of hot feet.  Since installing the adjustables, no more problems.  It's a great add and well worth the $ [smiley=banana.gif]  As we all know, If she's happy, then we're happy [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
