speakin of 3 wheelers, has any one heard any thing to the effect that the factory TG is actually a leahman kit scince 09 or at least the major mechanicals and structure ?  It's not imposible I heard a line of chit though   :nixweiss:

I believe the H-D / Lehman relationship only lasted 2 years at best and now the MoCo are doing it all themselves.

Lehman was only a shop that H-D had the bikes put together at. Nothing on the bike was from Lehman, Harley bought all the parts from outside vendors and had it all shipped to Lehman for the put together. Lehman got  bikes and no back half on them sent to them from factory when done they would push them back into the Harley truck to ship back to York. the bikes did not have keys in them so Lehman could not start or ride them.

the only part Lehman did was the paint on the body, and that was all set up by Harley at Lehman.

in the long run, I think Lehman turned out to be the low cost to do the install and after two years of it Harley took it all back to their factory and Lehman was out.

and after Lehman added on to their building, got more workers, did all the grunt work and Harley left them ........they closed / sold what was left and all the original Lehman is gone.

Well we managed to get to a dealer that had I believe the first one on display in the UK I was impressed with the strength of the body work much stronger than I had in mind , not too big overall either the boss managed to climb aboard and off again with much less effort than our current cvo ultra.

Now..... I just don't want to part with the cvo , why did I open my big mouth. Cos she wants one. Blue / Black please.

Hannigan conversion finally completed.  Hannigan did an awesome job matching the original color and graphics.  Now that we have had snow that resulted in salt and sanding of our roads I will have to wait until Feb to try her out in Florida.

For the past few years every time we see trike demo's, my friends and I take as many conversions
out for a test as we can. My advise to all is try every brand of conversion out there before you just purchase
the HD conversion. You MAY find that the aftermarket HD conversions are much better riding,
easier to steer, etc.
