My reason for getting the CVO is that my previous MC was a standard Street Glide that I put on 12K in add on's.  My insurance company sold me a rider policy that covered all my add on's.  I was rear ended by a cage that totalled my MC 2 1/2 years ago.  My insurance company is fighting me in the legal system to not pay for my parts.  They state that if the MC is totalled than the pay out becomes "Book Value."  They want to settle for $500 for all my parts!  So, the moral to this story is, if you are going to dump money into add on's than get the CVO because the book value reflects the cost of all the "Bling"

go CVO...just economic sense, if you can afford it.

I was going to buy a stock Street Glide and add Agitator wheels, do paint etc.  Simply stated, you can't build a CVO piece by piece for what you'll pay.  Perhaps consider buying a pre-owned CVO? I've owned about 15 H-D's and only 1 was brand new.  There's so many for sale out there.  I bought a 2011 CVO SG w/ a race tuner and cam already installed, with 1,500 miles on it, for $4,200 under MSRP.  Just do your homework and you'll find it.

My input may be helpful and then it may not.

I have always liked big engines on my bikes. That is why I have a CVO street Glide for touring.
I came very close to getting a CVO Breakout. That is until I rode one.
Make sure you get a good test ride first. This is really important. I'm not talking about a 20 mile ride. That is worthless. Rent one whether it is a cvo or not.
Even though I ride Harley's I am a aggressive rider at times. I have other bikes for that other than my SG.
I decided to buy used so I could build the engine my way.
I bought used and got the engine build I wanted and saved 10 grand doing it.
I am one of those guys that has to have my cake and eat it to. LOL
Coming from a crotch rocket to a HD I honestly do not think you would be happy with the Breakout 110 CVO.
Not really the power differences. What I did not like about the breakout was all the scraping. Could not get into the curves like I can on my other HD bikes.
Please get a good test ride first.
