Due to having the blacked out Panacea tail light that you can hardly see in daylight, I added the HD conversion of turnsignals to stoplights also.  I kept the smoked lenses on them and added red bulbs to give the red stop effect.  That way all lenses on rear are the smoked effect but the lighting is much better.  Also added two small red LED's down low  on each side of the rear fender.....don't notice them until turned on, then they add quite a bit at  night.  :) spyder

Spyder,
I'd be interested in seeing that also. I have the smoked lenses on the back of mines too (w/o the Panacea tailight), and didn't want to give them up. But if I can keep them, and get the extra lights also this may be something I want to look into.

I like the look of the red lenses on my black bike, but agree on the  [smiley=pumpkin.gif] you would leave the grey.  d00d, I have red led bulbs along with the lenses.  You could keep the grey lenses and use the red led bulbs and get a ton of brightness.

Item #: 01261
Rotating / Pulsating 1157 LED
This 1157 Replacement bulb fits right into your existing Brake / Tail Light, and rotates any time your running lights are on; then blinks when your brakes are applied.
MSRP: $29.95  Price: $25.99 ea

I'm pretty sure the rear sockets (on the SEEGs, at least) will only accept an 1156 (single post). [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Hmmm, forgot about that. That would indeed be true of the single post for 1156. :(

I use the double post bulbs, just grind one of the posts off and wedge in......has worked just fine for many miles now.  [smiley=drink.gif] spyder

OK Rog/D00d, here's a shot of the rear w/ the little red LED's mounted low on either side of the rear fender.

Are you using the bulbs that Roger spoke of in his post? I would think grinding one of the posts off would defeat one of the purposes (rotation when tail lights are on) of that particular bulb, and if you took the wrong post off you may eliminate the "blinking" brake light or brake light all together? Actually D00d, I probably should have used the term 'lugs' instead of 'posts' to more accurately describe what I'm grinding off.....the off-set lugs that hold the bulb into the socket.  Not the terminal connections/posts that activate the bulb.   Works just fine w/o both of the off-set lugs in place.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  spyder
