It involves drilling holes with template in your lids and pluging into your wiring harness. Any questions pm me. About a 30 min. install.

The templates come with the light kits and the instructions tell you what size drill bit to you.  The bit is standard that is in most drill sets that will do metal or plastic.

Key word would be 'pilot hole'. Or at least use a centerpunch.  Amazing how much sweat forms just as the bit closes in on the lid [smiley=nervous.gif].
Hey, if I can do it, ANYBODY can do it! :D

Any of you know how long it takes to get a matched, painted set for an 05 SEEG?

6-8 weeks or so..............matched piece whole set doesn't matter........unless you do some type of search and get lucky enough to find some dealer with something leftover and in stock.

Another tip is to chamfer (sp) the holes in either side with a large countersink.  This will prevent cracking in the future (old boating trick...but works).

Make sure you have the appropriate washer/spacers.  There have been instances where the screws have been overtightened and cracked the spoiler paint by pushing up on the fiberglass when the screw bottomed out...saw a dealer do this...

Mine are still in the box...waiting on the new saddlebags for the 2006 paint issue...didn't want to drill the exit hole...
